On 2 October 2026, as part of GET-UP – Life Skill Empowerment for Homeless People Through Sport, a Co-Creation Workshop was held at the Equal Society support service in Corfu, Greece, bringing together people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, social-service professionals and the GET-UP project team.

The aim of the co-creation workshop was to translate the findings from the GET-UP research phase into practical decisions about the design and delivery of the sport-based intervention. Participants identified key barriers to participation, developed practical solutions, select suitable activities and co-design the conditions needed to make participation realistic, meaningful, safe and sustainable.

Because in GET-UP project, we do not simply design for people. We design with them.
